Apple undoubtedly has captured a substantial chunk of the top-tier smartphone market with the recently released iPhone 16 series, but the sphere seems to be crowded with potential opponents to challenge Apple's dominance.
One such challenger is Google, as Google with its latest "Best Phones Forever" ad — a coyly produced piece of content underscoring Pixel's upper hand over the iPhone.
The tech giant Google in the latest video puckishly welcomes the latest iPhone 16 series in the realm of RCS messaging.

The ad simulates the settings of a therapy session, showing a Pixel 9 and iPhone 15 Pro discussing their communication issues, wherein the iPhone is shown to inform the Pixel that it has finally embraced RCS messaging and it can now share cat memes with other smartphones in the world. The advertisement concludes with some gibberish displayed alongside both phones cheering being on the same page.
Google's Best Phones Forever ads always tease iPhone's shortcomings compared to Google's flagship Pixel series for over a year, with the first video released in the middle of last year in which the Pixel 7 condoles a generic iPhone Pro being sorrowful for not being as good as Pixel.
Similarly, another copy of the Best Phones Forever ads made fun of Apple introducing USB-C under pressure from the European Union.
The search giants might have taken a cheeky jibe at the iPhone maker for refusing to integrate the RCS, or Rich Communication Services RCS, which offers group chats, high-quality media sharing, gifs, and read receipts.
