We are at this point in time when electric vehicles (EVs) have been normalised and nearly every country has embraced the footprint of EV makers like Tesla, Hyundai, BYD, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and more.
While it appears improbable to shake this well-established monopoly of the top EV manufacturers, Airlink Communications, a smartphone distributor and retailer in Pakistan, is all set to launch an EV.

As part of a bigger strategy to diversify its smartphone-focused portfolio, Airlink will attain this remarkable feat in collaboration with Xiaomi.
Soon to launch in Pakistan, the EV from Airlink has been performing well in BYD and Tesla-dominated markets like China.
With a significant share in the EV market on the horizon, Airlink has also been a top contender in the realm of smartphones with the help of its subsidiary Select Technologies.
The venture into the EV sector could prove immensely fruitful for both Airlink and Pakistan's economy.
