Amazon unveils first Mini LED Fire TV for gaming: Check specs, price

Amazon has unveiled its first-ever Mini LED Fire TV, Amazon Fire TV Omni Mini-LED, offering better picture quality and user experience. The Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series is available in 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch sizes.

Alongside the Mini LED Fire TV, Amazon has also rolled out the Fire TV Soundbar Plus series and an updated Fire TV 4-series.

The Amazon Fire TV Omni Mini-LED supports refresh rates up to 144Hz and up to 1,400nits of peak brightness and 1,344 dimming zones with better contrast.

The device supports Dolby Vision IQ and HDR 10+ Adaptive for better visuals, Intelligent Picture Technology that utilises artificial intelligence (AI) to adjust picture settings based on content, and a built-in light and colour sensor.

For an enhanced gaming experience, the Amazon Fire TV Omni Mini-LED includes AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Auto Low Latency Mode.

Moreover, the device features Dolby Atmos sound, built-in speakers, and subwoofers for better audio and accessibility features such as Dual Audio support for ASHA-enabled hearing aids are also included.

The Amazon Fire TV Omni Mini-LED is available for $819.99 for the 55 model, $1,089.99 for the 65-inch model, $1,499.99 for the 75-inch model, and $2,099.99 for the 85-inch model.
