Google has introduced the Doze mode, a new feature, which is a power-saving feature in Android 6.0. It’s a state where your device enters a deep sleep, reducing background tasks and conserving battery life.
Android 15 takes it to the next level by speeding up the time it takes to enter doze mode by 50%. This improvement means devices running Android 15 will see a significant increase in standby battery life.
Google has tested various devices and found an increase of up to 3 hours more power. This change will benefit all devices receiving the Android 15 updates.
Although Wear OS 5 is based on Android 14 future updates like Wear OS 6 will likely be integrated with these power-saving improvements.
