Android 15 is expected to make the task of contacts backup easier than ever with a major “Contacts Storage” page. The page will allow users to choose a specific account for saving their contacts. One can also opt for various options regarding this backup.

Google Contacts has the ability to save your contacts in a specific account. However, not every app supports such services.

According to Android Authority, Google is preparing a new “Contacts Storage” page for Android 15. The analyst found a few strings similar to the new contacts storing page in the latest QPR2 Beta 1 update.

These strings hint at having certain toggles such as:

  1. Select a contact to sync contacts to.
  2. Add an account.
  3. Disable contact syncing completely.

With the “Contacts Storage” page, you don’t have to stress if the Contacts app will back up all your “contacts” or not. You just have to set the feature and it will take care of the rest of the things.

Other features and capabilities of the new “Contacts Storage” page are not disclosed currently.
