AnTuTu score leaks: MediaTek Dimensity 8400 surpasses Snapdragon 8s Gen 3

MediaTek is likely to launch the flagship model of SoC Dimensity 9400, which is nowadays under the spotlight because of its high-end features.

But, it’s certainly not the only chipset under development as, a renowned tipster Digital Chat Station tipped that MediaTek is reportedly working on another chipset Dimensity 8400, which entails a plethora of striking features and provides an enhanced performance.

The reports further suggested that the AnTuTu benchmark has scored Dimensity 8400 between 1.7 million and 1.8 million which surpassed the recent flagship model of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 which scored approx 1.7 million points.

In the view of some tech enthusiasts, the most affordable smartphone with Dimensity 8400 is likely to be available for 1,500 Yuan and the SoC would provide an enhanced performance in contrast to the Qualcomm counterparts, but it would be available at discounted rates.

Moreover, Redmi is reportedly working on smartphones with several processors, including Dimensity 9300+, Dimensity 8400, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, according to Chinese tech outlet IT Home. 

Additionally, three Redmi models are speculated to share a few design features including 1.5K or 2K displays, 100W fast charging, and more. However, it’s still unknown which Redmi phone would use the Dimensity 8400. 

Alongside insights into the pricing of the chipset, all of these details are yet to be confirmed soon.
