Although rumours have long ended resonating in the audio sphere about Sonos — a company known for its speakers — venturing out to bring its first ever wireless headphones, they have once again begun emerging on the scene.
A fresh spate of recent rumours, coupled with the visual glimpse of a new wireless headphones from Sonos, just surfaced online. The images accompanied with the leak confirmed that the company has designed its Sonos Ace wireless headphones.
As reported by 9to5 Mac, this was unwillingly publicised by Schuurman, an authorised Sonos partner. As per the images viewed by 9to5 Mac, the headphones could bring some physical buttons on both earcups and a toggle switch.

Beats Solo 4 dethroned?
Bearing immense resemblance to Apple’s AirPods Max, with thin, customisable stems that seem to be made of metal, we can say that the headphones might penetrate the headphones market as a formidable contender against Apple headphones, and might as well compete with the Beats Solo 4, considering its design and overall visual appeal.
On the other hand, a separate rumour indicates that the new Sonos Ace wireless headphones could carry in the box, claiming a protective case with a USB-C cable, a 3.5mm adapter, and a small, mysterious black box are what is expected with the headphones.
Sonos Ace wirless headphones specs and price
Since all we discussed is based on rumours, having a say on technical specifications would not be morally good. The only confirmed information is that the headphones will be closely integrated with Sonos speakers.
Previous leaks indicated that the Sonos Ace wireless headphones might be priced at around $450. Schuurman's website has them listed at €403.58, supporting these speculations, $100 less than Apple's AirPods Max as Apple's AirPods Max are priced at $549.
