Apple's popular Beats Pill speaker is getting impressive upgrades, packed with exciting new features. The latest Betas Pill is expected to launch this summer.
With better sound, better battery life and features like Find My and water resistance, the refreshed Beats Pill speaker is shaping up to be an exciting update. This new portable Bluetooth speaker is expected to have the following features.
2024 Beats Pill's new features
- The new Beats Pill promises a richer sound profile you can enjoy your favourite tunes for a long time with a battery of up to 24 hours.
- The upgraded speaker also includes integrated Find My Tracking, making it easy to locate if lost or stolen.
- Plus, it's now IP67 water resistant, so you can take it to the beach or pool without worrying about damage.

- Apple is replacing old USB-A and Lightning ports with USB-C, making charging and wired audio easier.
- With Bluetooth 5.3, pairing and switching between devices is faster and more reliable than ever. You can seamlessly connect your speaker to your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, and switch between them with ease.
- The new Beats Pill is said to have sharper sound, bigger bass, and improved tonality, making it an upgrade over the 2015 Beats Pill+.
- It's also compatible with both iOS and Android devices, offering one-touch pairing and auto-pairing on compatible devices.
- The new Beats Pill has a slightly larger package than its predecessor, measuring 8.6" x 2.8" x 2.8" compared to 8" x 2.5" x 2.25".
- It also features a removable carry lanyard and will debut in three different colour options including black, gold, and red, unlike its predecessor, which was available in black or white, with a later addition of red.
- The new Beats Pill is slightly lighter than its predecessor, weighing 680 grams (1.5 pounds) compared to 748.5 grams (1.65 pounds).
- The packaging includes a USB-C to USB-C cable for both charging and wired audio between USB-C devices.
