The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are anticipated to debut in the latter half of 2024, featuring two fresh colour variants, according to a tipster post on X (formerly Twitter). Leaked renders show the smartphones in new grey and gold finishes.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro lineup are not available in a gold colour option. Apple's current flagship iPhones, the first to boast a titanium chassis, are currently available in four colours.
According to Gadgets360, Majin Bu (@majinbuofficial) has posted on X (formerly Twitter) leaked two renders showcasing the purported iPhone 16 Pro in new colour options.
iPhone 16 colour options
Apple may introduce its upcoming premium iPhone models in Desert Titanium and Titanium Grey colourways. While other colour choices are under discussion, their likelihood of release is deemed "less plausible" by the tipster.

The rumoured Desert Titanium (Desert Yellow) shade is said to resemble the gold tone offered on the iPhone 14 Pro series, a colour option absent from last year's iPhone 15 Pro lineup. Meanwhile, the Titanium Grey (Cement Grey) hue is similar to the Space Grey variant seen on the iPhone 6 released in 2014.
In the previous year, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max were unveiled in Black Titanium, Blue Titanium, Natural, and White Titanium variants. If the tipster's information holds, the iPhone 16 Pro might reintroduce the gold variant to Apple's premium iPhone lineup.
The leaked colour choices indicate Apple's intention to provide diverse options for the iPhone 16 Pro models. At least two of the colour selections from the iPhone 15 Pro series may need replacement. Notably, unlike the standard models, iPhone Pro variants typically debut in four colourways.
Titanium White and Black Titanium variants may likely be retained, while the others could be replaced by these leaked finishes. Notably, the iPhone 16 series is expected to launch in the third quarter of 2024, with further details regarding colour options and specifications likely to emerge in the coming months.
