Apple is offering users of the iPhone 14 pro with malfunctioning cameras a free-of-cost repair.

Following the rollout of the recent update, the rear camera of the iPhone 14 Pro was affected and began showing issues to a small percentage of 14 iPhone Plus users.

The technical underlying problems were not specified, but it was reported that Apple will fix the device free of cost in Apple Stores, Apple-authorised service providers and through mail-in service.

Consumers having problems with their iPhones can visit Apple’s support page and enter their phone’s serial number and they will check if the device is eligible or not.

According to PC Mag, all the iPhone 14 Pro models manufactured between April 10, 2023 and April 28, 2024, were impacted. The affected iPhone owners can also contact Apple about getting a refund.

The rights are restricted to the original country or region of the purchasing of the iPhone. Apple offered repairs to their previous faulty products as well, like the AirPod Pros in October 2021. For users who have experienced cracking issues, Apple offered them replacement or repairs for free.

Apple iPhone 11 support programme also offered a replacement for the ones facing problems due to the non-responsive screen.
