Apple has released the web version of its Apple Podcasts — a two-in-one platform which provides a merger of a streaming service and a media player on Apple devices — something which frequent Apple consumers have been longing for years.
Apple Podcasts on web
Apple Podcasts on the web would grant users access to the service without using the Podcasts app. Unlike the case of a new interface of any other application or service, it should remain clear that Apple Podcasts on the web bring to the table the same constellation of accessibility and management tools as those on the Podcasts app.
All of these inbuilt features and functionalities can be used, without compromising quality, to listen to shows, upgrade or cancel subscriptions, sync libraries associated with an Apple Account, and browse podcasts one has on the service.
How to use Apple Podcasts web version
All a user needs to do to access Apple Podcasts on the web is navigate to podcasts.apple.com. The notable point here is that accessing Apple Podcasts' web service on browsers other than Safari is seamless and pretty straightforward.
But if opened on the Safari browser on an iPhone or iPad, users will be presented with a prompt stating that the service will be opened in the Podcasts app.
The rollout comes on the heels of the release of the Apple Maps beta version for its web interface, which Apple brought about in June.
