Apple releases updated iOS 18 beta 4 for developer testing

Apple has launched an upgraded version of iOS 18 beta 4 for developers. The new version came just days after the original developer beta 4.

The original iOS 18 developer beta 4 launched previously, on July 23. Due to some unfolded issue discovered in the launch, Apple has currently changed it with a new beta 4.

Presently, beta 4 comes with a new build number of 22A5316K. The latest beta 4 may pave the way for the addition of Apple Intelligence features in iOS 18.

Meanwhile, it could also easily exist because Apple discovered a vulnerability in the initial version that required addressing. Apple unveiled an upgraded developer beta 3 in recent weeks before releasing the first iOS 18 public beta.

Apple might be planning a similar move here, with the updated developer beta 4 preceding public beta 2 on Monday.
