Apple is reportedly working on a significant upgrade to its flagship lineups in the coming years. According to a report, the tech giant is expected to introduce foldable technology to its iPhone and iPad series.

Apple’s various redesigned devices might also be unveiled in the coming months, including a new AirTag model, a more ergonomic Magic Mouse, and a sleek iPhone 17 Air.

Notably, Apple has allegedly been developing these devices for years, with the foldable iPhone likely to be released first.

Foldable iPhone and iPad

According to a Bloomberg report, Apple is developing a device that features a large 19-inch screen, potentially an iPad.

The report highlights that Apple aims to eliminate visible creases when the foldable iPad is unfolded, focusing on making the screen appear as a single piece of glass.

Moreover, the company is also working on a foldable iPhone with a larger screen than the recently launched iPhone 16 Pro Max. This foldable will likely launch in 2026.

Another reliable publication, The Wall Street Journal, noted the same, stating that the foldable iPhone could feature a display larger than the current iPhones when unfolded.

While the company is reportedly planning a 2026 launch, it could be pushed back by a year or two.
