Apple has announced plans to expand its retail footprint in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), starting with the launch of its online store in the summer of 2025.

This will be followed by the opening of multiple physical stores in 2026, including an Apple store in Diriyah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, in Saudi Arabia.

The expansion is part of Apple's ongoing efforts in the region for which it has already spent over SAR 10 billion and established a developer academy in 2021.

Apple CEO Tim Cook stated: “We’re excited to be expanding here in Saudi Arabia with the launch of the Apple Store online next year, and the first of several flagship Apple Store locations starting in 2026.”

“Our teams are looking forward to deepening our connections with customers, and to bringing the best of Apple to help people across this country explore their passions, build their businesses, and take their ideas to the next level,” Apple CEO added.

Apple’s online store in KSA will offer Arabic language support, providing customers with "exceptional service and support directly from Apple for the first time."

Notably, Apple has also seen a 1750% growth in App Store earnings for Saudi Arabian developers since 2019.

Moreover, Apple plans to bring support for express transit on the upcoming Riyadh metro, joining over 250 cities worldwide.
