Apple rolls out new AirPods Pro 2 firmware for developers

This day is going to leave an unerasable mark on Apple's flagship gadget history as the iPhone maker has rolled out a new developer firmware for AirPods Pro 2.

The firmware update for the AirPods Pro 2 has been made available immediately following its rollout. Apple is known for releasing developer beta updates less often. The AirPods Pro 2 firmware update has come out with the following build number: 7A5266c.

As the iPhone maker disclosed the update on a very unprecedented occasion, it is expected to incorporate a plethora of new features to the second-generation Pro model this fall.

New AirPods Pro 2 features 

  • Support for nodding or shaking your head to respond to Siri
  • Voice Isolation to improve calls in noisy environments
  • Improvements to personalized spatial audio, especially for gaming

Those having access to the latest developer firmware for AirPods Pro 2 will be able to preview all the yet-to-release features before their actual, public release.

Before beginning to install the latest developer firmware for AirPods Pro 2, users must bear in mind that it’s more complicated than installing an iOS 18 beta.
