Apple is likely to delay the launch of a market-competitive Vision Pro by 2027, coinciding with the release of the Apple M5 chip.
A reliable analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo suggested that the upcoming and more affordable Vision Pro device is currently in the rudimentary stage of development, and Apple CEO Tim Cook and the entire team are eyeing a launch date by 2027.

Kuo reiterated that the Cupertino-based tech giant that a one head-mounted display will be the Vision Pro along with an improved M5 chip in 2025.
He further mentioned that the M5 Vision Pro will attract more users as it is substantially a niche product with limited use cases at a broader scale.
Kuo further drew a comparison to the HomePod lineup, indicating that the less expensive HomePod mini failed to captivate users similar to the Vision Pro grappled with the same issue, despite the phenomenal features edging out the competition.
