Apple is reportedly developing two new devices one of which is the Apple Smart Glasses, an augmented reality (AR) glasses, and a more affordable version of the Apple Vision Pro, a mixed reality headset.
The Apple Vision Pro was announced back in June, and since then, which raised concerns regarding a high price and very limited availability of the device.
However, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple would bring a more affordable version of it out next year. This device would offer fewer features compared to the current mixed-reality headset but with a price tag of $1,500 to $2,000.
Apple might remove some sensors and cameras or use cheaper materials to lower its price. This move would enable the company to enter the mixed reality space and compete with other tech companies.

The investment in Apple Vision Pro is a very expensive investment that the company is not going to drop despite any challenges.
Moreover, Apple Smart Glasses are yet in the experimental stage and might not hit the market for the next couple of years.
These AR-based glasses have a similar look and feel to the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses. Apple had a few technical glitches while developing the device, but it still has faith in its AR glasses.
Furthermore, several rumours are also surfacing that the second generation of the Vision Pro is already under development, powered by a faster processor, enhanced external cameras, and lightweight design for extended wear.
