Apple is set to introduce a new option for parents who aren’t willing to provide their children with smartphones.
Recently, the official website of the tech giant launched a campaign for its new Apple Watch, highlighting all the remarkable features.
The website is promoting its new product as a ‘great call for kids’ as well as showing parents how they can stay connected with their children without even having a smartphone.

Apple stated that the watch is specifically designed for children, having various capabilities like easy calling, texting tracking locations and monitoring activities.
Apple explains it with a feature called Schooltime in which notifications and apps are restricted during school hours. When it’s enabled, a yellow circle is displayed on the watch that parents and teachers can recognise easily.
Moreover, parents can also set the schedule on their iPhones so Apple Watch automatically goes to Schooltime during specific hours.
Apple also highlighted the benefits of this new watch feature as it will be providing essential connectivity without distractions like social media and games.
This feature is an extended version of the previously called ‘Family Setup’ that launched back in 2020, allowing parents to manage their child’s Apple Watch from their own iPhone.
