As never-heard-of diseases have begun spreading at a rapid pace, the diagnosis of lethal diseases has fortunately become as quick as booking a cab on your phone,
While medical-centric tech firms are churning out devices solely designed to detect such diseases before they take over your health, Apple seems adamant about making it happen with its AirPods.
Citing sources, PC Mag reported that the iPhone maker is gearing up to integrate the diagnosis of ailing heart health into its next-generation AirPods with a new patent.

AirPods to detect heart health with new Apple patent
The patient is said to possess the ability to measure heart activity just through the earbud's microphone.
"A device that includes a microphone may be worn in or on an ear of a user. A microphone signal generated by the microphone may be processed to determine the heart activity of a user," the publication quoted Apple's patent application as stating.
"An indication of a heart pathology may be detected by applying a predictive algorithm to at least the heart activity," the application added.
If the reported health patent is implemented, the next Apple AirPods could be able to determine pulse transit time, assisting in determining the wearer's blood pressure.
