Apple is going to host the annual iPhone event on September 9, during which it would be introducing the highly anticipated iPhone 16 lineup, along with new devices and software features.
This year's event would centre around one particular topic: Apple Intelligence company's advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technology with expanded capabilities and deeper integration across its product ecosystem.
iPhone 16: Powerful processors and AI enhancements
However, the iPhone 16 is going to sport a new chip, the A18, which would power all the models for processing Apple Intelligence. The new processor brings AI-powered features like On-Screen Understanding, Upgraded Siri, and Image Generation.

In addition, leaked dummy units hint at a redesigned camera module for the iPhone 16. The vertically stacked lenses are said to look familiar because they look close to those on the iPhone 12 and iPhone X.
Apple Watch Series 10: Bigger and thinner
Besides, the Apple Watch Series 10 is expected to be designed much thinner and finer compared to the previous ones. It's said to boast a new chip that will be more powerful than any present on a former Watch.
Secondly, there should also be a new screen size of 49mm, similar to the Apple Watch Ultra.
AirPods lineup expansion
Apple reportedly sets to launch refreshed entry-level and mid-tier AirPods, replacing the current second and third-gen series, respectively.

This, in turn, is said to feature a Pro style design element with additional noise cancellation for the middle range model. It also includes speakers in the charging case for the purpose of enabling Find My.
New Mac Mini
There are also rumours about a new Mac Mini, the size of an Apple TV, coming out. The announcement for this gadget at the iPhone event is not confirmed, but it is believed that Apple will have a separate event for the new Mac Mini.
