Apple is reportedly planning to launch a new iPhone model, the iPhone 17 Slim, which could be the most expensive iPhone ever. Apple has been introducing four iPhone models every year, but the company is planning to introduce a new 'slim' model that could replace the 'Plus' model.
According to the rumours, this new model will join the iPhone 17 series, which is expected to arrive in 2025. The iPhone 17 Slim is said to have an updated design, a bigger screen and a higher price tag than the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
iPhone 17 specifications
The iPhone 17 Slim is expected to have a refreshed design, with a slimmer body than its predecessors. Apple recently launched the iPad Pro (2024) with a much slimmer body at the Google I/O developer conference, and the company is likely to adopt a similar design for the iPhone 17 Slim.

The new model will also feature a smaller Dynamic Island, which is a notch at the top of the screen that houses the front camera and other sensors.
The iPhone 17 Slim is expected to have a 6.6-inch screen, which is larger than the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro, but smaller than the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The new model is also rumoured to feature a centre-aligned rear camera module and an aluminium body.
iPhone 17 pricing
The iPhone 17 Slim is expected to be the most expensive iPhone ever, costing more than the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The new model is likely to be available in 2025 along with other models in the iPhone 17 series. However, Apple has yet to officially announce the iPhone 17 series and the company is expected to launch the iPhone 16 series later this year.
