Aramco on Tuesday inaugurated its first fuel retail station in Lahore, marking a new chapter for the global energy giant in Pakistan.

This launch followed Aramco’s recent acquisition of a 40% stake in Gas & Oil Pakistan (GO) Limited, a major player in Pakistan’s fuel market with over 1,200 stations across the country.

The new Aramco-branded station, developed in collaboration with GO, offered premium ProForce fuel, Valvoline lubricants, and comprehensive automotive services under its Express Care programme.

This site also includes a modern convenience store, designed to enhance customer experience and provide seamless service.

Yasser M. Mufti, Executive Vice President of Products & Customers at Aramco, highlighted the significance of this launch, stating: “This is a key milestone in Aramco’s downstream strategy, as we open our first station in a market with tremendous growth potential.”

He underscored Aramco’s commitment to innovation, excellence, and community, expressing confidence that this partnership would bring quality service and high-value products to Pakistani customers.

Khalid Riaz, CEO of GO, echoed Mufti’s vision, stating that the Lahore station represented a commitment to raising standards in Pakistan’s fuel sector.

Riaz emphasised that the collaboration would set new benchmarks for quality, service, and customer satisfaction, laying the groundwork for an expansion of Aramco-branded stations across GO’s extensive network in the future.

Aramco’s entry into Pakistan’s retail fuel market aimed to strengthen its global presence while tapping into Pakistan’s rapidly growing economy. Through this venture, Aramco planned to introduce its premium offerings and customer-centric approach to more regions across Pakistan, driving growth and redefining industry standards.
