Asus is all set to launch ROG Phone 9 and 9 Pro — armoured contenders in gaming realm — on November 19, but several leaks have created a buzz and provided a glimpse into the specs of the highly anticipated phone including colours, storage, display, and more.
The forthcoming ROG Phone 9 series is likely to boast a reminiscent design to the ROG Phone 8, with a more textured rear side, featuring similar size and colour options to last year’s model including Phantom Black returns, while Storm White.
It is expected to boast 1080 × 2448 PMOLED displays featuring 1-120Hz refresh rates along with a special Game Genie mode letting you up to 185Hz. ROG Phone 9 series is confirmed to be equipped with the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor that indicates its ability to run AAA personal computer (PC) games on the device. Moreover, it will rely on Android 15, including NFC, Wi-Fi 7, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
However the specs are quite reminiscent of its predecessor, but the ROG Phone 9 Pro is likely to house higher RAM that may outdo the Realme G17 Pro for the title of most powerful gaming phone.
All the details regarding the specs of ROG Phone 9 series are purely speculative which are yet to be confirmed by the company ahead of its launch.
