Batman: Arkham Origins has just received a new mod, namely the "Vengeance Difficulty Mod," which aims to increase the difficulty of the game.
The new mod is for players who have already completed the game and want to enjoy the same experience with an additional twist of challenge.
Created by GPUnity, it seeks to enhance the thinking of the enemies in the game, making them more dangerous to tackle, and has also modified the campaign bosses. Other mods created for other Batman: Arkham games include:
- Batman: Arkham Asylum – added a version of the mod with 4K textures.
- Batman: Arkham City – includes the "Arkham City Redux" mod, which added DirectX 11 support, and the "Ascension Mod." These mods refined the system, combat, and AI.
GPUnity is currently working on an "Insane Difficulty Mod" for Batman: Arkham Knight, although it might not offer a 4K texture pack.
However, Batman: Arkham Knight already looks great on PC, and the Batmobile sections are not as problematic as claimed by some players.
While their mods are enjoyable, they are not recommended for new players unfamiliar with the game mechanics. Instead, they serve as a greater challenge for those who have already completed the normal version, offering a new gameplay experience with a different difficulty perspective.
