The iQoo Z9 5G is anticipated to debut in the Indian market soon, as indicated by previous appearances on various certification platforms, offering insights into some of its key specifications. Early leaks have also showcased design renders of two rumoured models of the iQoo Z9, speculated to be a standard version and an iQoo Z9x variant.

These models are expected to succeed the iQoo Z8 and iQoo Z8x, which were introduced in China back in August 2023. Additionally, iQoo is preparing to unveil the iQoo Neo 9 Pro in India on February 22.

Recently, the iQoo Z9 5G was sighted on Geekbench under the model number I2302. The listing suggests that the device could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC, contradicting previous leaks that hinted at a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC.

According to the Geekbench 6 scores, the purported iQoo Z9 5G with the 'k6886v1_64' chipset designation achieved 1186 in the single-core test and 2683 in the multi-core test. This model is rumoured to feature 8GB of RAM and run on an Android 14-based operating system.

The iQoo Z9 is anticipated to bring several enhancements, expected to succeed the iQoo Z8. Notably, the iQoo Z8 is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery, a 6.64-inch IPS full-HD+ display, a 64-megapixel dual rear camera setup, and operates on Android 13-based OriginOS 3.0. An earlier leak also hinted at the device's 1.5K OLED display and a 6,000mAh battery, according to Gadgets360.

Its Bluetooth SIG listing indicates support for Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Leaked design renders of the iQoo Z9 series depict two models - likely the standard iQoo Z9 and iQoo Z9x, featuring textured, gradient light blue back panels. One model showcases a circular dual rear camera setup, while the other exhibits a square-shaped camera module.
