Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone are two popular titles in the iconic Call of Duty franchise, known for their intense first-person shooter gameplay and expansive multiplayer modes. Modes Warfare 3 offers a single-player campaign set in a modern military backdrop, while Warzone provides a dynamic battle royale experience set in the fictional city of Verdansk.

Both games have amassed large player bases and maintain active communities, with regular updates and events keeping the gameplay fresh and engaging. In Modern Warfare 3’s Ranked Play mode, players compete in competitive matches using a variety of weapons, aiming to climb the ranks and prove their skill against others.

One of the key focuses of the update is weapon balance. Treyarch, the studio behind MW3's Ranked Play mode, is testing additional weapons to diversify the meta. Previously banned weapons like the BP50 and Holger 556 are now available for use in Ranked Play until April 23.

This move is aimed at encouraging players to explore different load-out options and strategies, ultimately improving the competitive scene, as reported by Game Rant.

The patch notes also reveal buffs and nerfs to specific weapons, aimed at refining gameplay balance. While some weapons have received slight buffs to improve their effectiveness, others have undergone significant nerfs to prevent them from dominating the battlefield.

These adjustments ensure that no single weapon reigns supreme, promoting diversity and strategic gameplay.

Another notable change introduced in the update is the enhancement of frag grenades. These explosives now deal increased damage but have a reduced explosive radius, requiring players to be more precise in their throws.

This adjustment adds depth to grenade usage and rewards skilled players who can accurately target their opponents.

Recently, both games received significant updates aimed at enhancing gameplay and addressing community feedback. These updates include weapon balancing adjustments, bug fixes, and the introduction of new features to enhance the overall player experience.

With the upcoming Season 3 Reloaded expected to arrive in early May, players can look forward to even more content and improvements. Additionally, rumours surrounding the next installment in the Call of Duty franchise, tentatively titled “Black Ops: Gulf War,” have sparked excitement among fans, hinting at innovative gameplay mechanics.
