In March, Activision's beloved battle royale title, Call of Duty: Warzone, will debut on mobile platforms. Specifically, it will be available for iOS and Android devices starting March 21.

This mobile iteration stands apart from Tencent's Call of Duty: Mobile, currently accessible on both the App Store and Google Play Store. Developed in-house by various Activision teams, including Beenox, Digital Legends, Solid State Studios, and Shanghai Studios, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is deeply integrated with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and the PC and console versions of Warzone.

Players can enjoy shared progression, levelling up weapons, accessing content from the BlackCell Battle Pass and store, and earning XP across all three games using the same account. Moreover, Warzone Mobile boasts full controller support, complemented by a customisable virtual controller overlay.

A recent blog post unveiling the launch date also outlined the maps and modes available upon release. Verdansk will accommodate 120-player battles in the battle royale mode, while Rebirth Island will host 48-player matches.

Classic Call of Duty modes like Domination, Kill Confirmed, Search & Destroy, and Team Deathmatch will be playable on maps such as Shipment, Shoot House, and Scrapyard. For those who were hesitant about transitioning to Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, this mobile version offers a promising alternative.

Pre-registration for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is open, with exclusive rewards awaiting early adopters. Preregistering grants players access to a Condemned operator skin for Ghost, M4 Archfiend and X12 Prince of Hell weapon blueprints, a Foes Flame vinyl, and the Dark Familiar emblem.
