Next week marks the global launch of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. Activision, ramping up excitement, recently unveiled a trailer showcasing the game’s graphics, gameplay, and various settings.
Initially available in a limited release, the game, set to debut on March 21, promises enhanced graphics and gameplay mirroring its PC and console versions. Notably, it will be the first in the Call of Duty series to offer cross-progression across platforms.
The YouTube launch trailer, released on Thursday, gives a sneak peek into features like the Verdansk and Rebirth maps, an array of weapons, a missile system, and various vehicles, along with the player drop mechanism.
Besides the cinematic visuals, the trailer highlights the game’s anticipated cross-progression system. This feature enables players to sync their progress, including weapon upgrades, battle pass advancements, and in-game purchases, across different platforms like PC, console, and mobile for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, Modern Warfare 3, and Warzone. Available for both Android and iOS, this mobile iteration is poised to bring a new dimension to the franchise.
Activision's battle royale mobile adventure will host 120 players in a single map, battling it out to be the last one standing. Fans of the franchise will recognize the large-scale maps Verdansk and Rebirth Island.
In addition to the classic battle royale mode, Warzone Mobile will include various multiplayer modes like Team Deathmatch, Domination, and more, with specific modes tailored to maps like Scrapyard and Shoot House. The Rebirth Island map features a unique Resurgence mode, allowing players to bring back eliminated team members.
A season-based Battle Pass will be introduced from day one. Following the model of Call Of Duty: Mobile, it will feature both free and premium tiers. Players can purchase the premium tier using COD Points (CP) to access more substantial rewards. The Battle Pass promises over 100 unlockable items, original game rewards, and the opportunity to earn up to 1,400 CP through challenges. The premium pass is priced at 1,100 CP.
