Careem on Monday announced a new “later booking” feature within the app, allowing users to schedule their rides in advance.
The leading ride-hailing service in Pakistan continues to serve its customers by providing a 15-minute waiting period after the captain’s arrival and offering the best vehicles with a better user experience.
The new “later booking” feature will ensure customers have reliable rides by scheduling the rides two hours in advance.
Now, despite any connectivity problems customers including students, professionals, or anyone opting for airport rides will be able to reach their destinations punctually.
How to schedule Careem ride in advance
- To schedule a ride in advance, open the Careem app.
- Then, select the desired ride type.
- Afterwards, tap the “now” dropdown menu and schedule the ride as per your preferred time.
“Mobility is an integral part of society, where customers rely on us to move freely. Careem continues to work towards introducing features to ensure to improve the lives of people whether it is a student or a professional scheduling a ride,” said Careem Pakistan’s General Manager Imran Saleem while reflecting on the feature.
In addition to its advance cab booking facility, Careem also offers “Premium 5 & 10 services” similar to this “later booking” feature, enabling customers to book a ride for an extended period of up to 5 hours, or 10 hours on special occasions like wedding functions or inter-city travel to avoid any hassle.
