The sphere of screens and displays has long been progressing for the past few years, churning out several technologies equipped with the highest-end components; however, it was far from what Samsung just disclosed.

According to Forbes, the South Korean tech giant lifted the veil off a stretchable screen at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 in Las Vegas.

One of countless jaw-dropping display technologies, the disclosure of Samsung's stretchable screen was made during coveted previews, exclusive to the journalists at CES 2025, on Monday.

Said to be a Micro-LED display, the Samsung stretchable screen is capable of bending from its originally flat surface to a swelled-up, fisheye-like shape, then again returning to its former state.

Since the technology has not been officially shown off at the CES 2025 stage, the use case of the stretchy screen is uncertain at the moment. The cherry on top of the development is that there are various such screens which Samsung is set to unveil at the grand electronics show.

Other such screen tech included bendable screens which can be wrapped around the dashboard of a car. Able to be physically morphed, these screens can take on the curvy shapes of the interior design.

Flex Magic Pixel technology, another sort of these screens by Samsung, is designed to cover parts of the screen, according to the viewing angle, which can potentially be employed to mask distracting entertainment displays from the driver.
