Only a few months after the integration of Circle to Search feature to the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 7 series, the visual searching feature is now coming to the Pixel 6 series, Fold, with the addition of in-line translations.

The remarkable feature was offered on the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, alongside the Galaxy S24 series, in January this year, following which March Pixel Feature Drop included it into the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro.

Fortunately, in view with its expansion to more pixels users and ensure its wider availability, Google is now releasing Circle to Search to the Pixel 6 lineup. Along with these devices, the company is also offering the feature on Pixel Fold and Tablet to cover up the entire Google hardware family.

On the sidelines of Google devices, the visual search tool is also being included on the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. To avail this feature, user must ensure the installation of latest Google app, as it's a server-side update.

Translation on Circle to Search

Besides its debut to additional devices, the feature will also offer in-line translations, which, once activated, will be located next to the Google app's search bar, and will allow users to “instantly translate whatever’s on your screen.” To keep the context of the text intact, the translated text will replace the original one.

Catering to the e-shopping domain, the feature is being bestowed with a more personalised “style recommendations” when looking for apparel, shoes, and accessories, like “straw tote bags” or “men’s polo shirts.”

Another perk on top of this is that users “can rate options with a thumbs up or thumbs down, or a simple swipe right or left, and instantly see personalised results,” and then Google will “remember your preferences” in case you get back with a similar query.
