Computex is an annual technology convention held in Taipei, Taiwan, where leading industry players showcase their latest innovations. This year, the focus is on AI-powered processors, which are revolutionising the way we live and work.

What's happening?

The biggest names in tech, including AMD, Qualcomm, Intel, Nvidia, and Arm, are announcing their latest processor technologies designed to handle the growing demands of AI workloads. From better performance to better security, these processors promise to change the way we use computers.

What to expect?

AI-powered demos from top manufacturers like Asus, MSI, and Microsoft are expected. Asus is showcasing its new Zenbook lineup, which includes AI-powered productivity tools and enhanced security features.

MSI will display its new GS series laptops, featuring AI-powered performance optimisation and cooling systems. Microsoft is also gearing up to introduce its Windows 11 AI PC platform, integrating AI capabilities into the operating system.

AMD's new Ryzen 7000 series processors deliver outstanding performance for AI-intensive tasks. Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8cx Gen 4 processor is expected to announce optimisation for AI-powered applications in gaming and productivity.

Event date and time

Computex 2024 is held in Taipei, Taiwan from June 4 to June 7. With the main exhibition hall open daily from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm, keynotes and product launches are scheduled throughout the event.
