The upcoming Honor 100 series, set to succeed the Honor 90 lineup launched earlier this year, is highly anticipated. This new series is expected to follow a similar pattern as its predecessor, offering two models: the standard Honor 100 and the premium Honor 100 Pro.

Previous leaks have hinted at key specifications, including details about the processors and display features for these smartphones. Recently, the company officially announced the launch date for the series.

In a recent Weibo post, Honor confirmed that the Honor 100 series will debut in China on November 23. The announcement showed off about refreshing the technological design and enhancing the overall product experience, claiming it to be a "full-scoring masterpiece". Accompanying the post was the hashtag "Glory 100 Full Score Photogenic".

Rumoured specs for the Honor 100 Pro include a high-resolution 1.5K display with a PWM dimming rate of 3,840Hz, alongside a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and dual front cameras.

Compared to the Honor 90 series, these new phones are expected to bring significant improvements.

The previous models, Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro were powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoCs, respectively. They boasted full-HD+ curved OLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness up to 1,600 nits, and a PWM dimming rate of 3,840Hz. The base model featured a 6.7-inch panel, while the Pro version had a larger 6.78-inch screen. Both devices packed 5,000mAh batteries, supporting 66W and 90W wired fast charging for the Honor 90 and Honor 90 Pro, respectively.

Colour options for the Honor 90 series included Bright Black, Ice Feather Blue, Ink Jade Green, and Star Diamond Silver in China. Pricing started at CNY 2,499 for the 12GB + 256GB variant of the base model and went up to CNY 3,299 for the 12GB + 256GB option of the Pro model.
