Bungie, an American video game company, confirmed the launch of Act 3 of Destiny 2 Episode: Echoes with brand-new content for players to discover. It is set to be the final act of the Echoes storyline in Destiny 2, and it’s likely to hint at what’s coming in the following Episode.
The first act of Destiny 2 Episode: Echoes was released on June 11, just a week after the launch of The Final Shape expansion. Echoes marked the beginning of a new storyline set directly after the defeat of the Witness in The Final Shape's Salvation's Edge raid.
What is new Destiny 2 update?
Bungie confirmed that Destiny 2 Episode: Echoes Act 3 will receive new activities, story missions, and rewards. Similarly to Act 2's Battlegrounds activity, a matchmade activity will be available during Act 3, with its completion aiding in the progression of the main story.
In addition, a new Exotic weapon will be offered in Act 3, while Bungie has not unveiled specific information about Act 3's new activities, gear, and weapons yet, while players may prepare their Guardians for the latest update by taking part in Destiny 2's annual Solstice event.
Destiny 2 players may battle waves of enemies in the Bonfire Bash matchmade activity to get new rewards, involving a new memento and the event-exclusive Fortunate Star bow. Additionally, players may prepare the new Sublime Suit armour set for this year's Solstice event and complete event challenges.

After Echoes Act 3 begins, players might view new limited-time events in Destiny 2. According to a leak, a Destiny 10th anniversary event will introduce new activities into the Pale Heart destination, where players can hunt for hidden treasure chests and armour pieces to complete all-new armour sets for their Guardians.
Completing all the new limited-time Triumphs will unlock the Legend title. Destiny 2 Episode 2: Revenant is expected to launch in October after the 10th anniversary event concludes, and the Episode's entire story will be available on day one.

Bungie confirmed that the release date of Destiny 2: Act 3 of Echoes is August 27.
