Disney started applying its pre-announced price surge for Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN from Friday. All these streaming services subscribers would experience an sudden increase in price plans.

Monthly subscriptions to Disney Plus

The Disney Plus basic plan will cost $9.99 per month which was previously available for only $7.99 per month, while the premium plan will be increased to $15.99 which previously cost $13.99 per month.

Much to the dismay of streamers, Disney from now onwards, will have a $2 increase per month for both of the plans including the basic and premium versions.

Monthly subscriptions to other Disney streaming services

Disney has escalated prices for other streaming services, such as Entertainment and Sports Programming Network (ESPN) Plus, and Hulu. Hulu’s ads-supported plan will now be available at $9.99, while the ad-free will be elevated to $18.99. However, ESPN Plus includes ads that will be available at $11.99.

These recent modifications will now affect Disney’s bundling options that includes Disney Plus and Hulu with ads that will be available at $10.99. However, users will be relaxed to know that the ad-free variant cost the reminiscent price and is available at $19.99.

Moreover, it is important to note that Disney Plus pricing via third-party billing partners might be different, based on the platform gaps and the country you live in, as every country’s price varies from eachother.

Streamers might be extremely disappointed with the sudden increase in price but Disney Plus is likely to bring more thrilling content to make the subscription more valuable.
