Square Enix has always been tight-lipped regarding the Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D remake after making an announcement in this regard in 2021, causing shockwaves in the video gaming sphere.

But now it appears that the developer is all set to transform the likes of gaming freaks, as it has lifted the veil off the platform on which it's releasing Dragon Quest 3 remake.

In view of its teaser released in 2021, the HD-2D format will serve as a catalyst in enhancing its graphical appeal. This remarkable upgrade comes approximately three decades after the game was originally released in 1988.

Considering the assortment of gaming consoles enthusiasts will be able to play it, via Steam, on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC when the Dragon Quest 3 hd remake will be launched.

Ever since the prominent game publisher began deploying its outstanding HD-2D tech with Octopath Traveller, it has utilised this technology in a various titles, including follow up releases of the Octopath Traveller, Triangle Strategy, the Live A Live remake and Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster's opera scene.

The teaser of the Dragon Quest 3 was released on the Dragon Quest Day, which marks the anniversary of the first title in the series released in Japan in 1986.
