Shareshot, an app for wrapping screenshots with perfect-fitting frames over pretty backgrounds, is available on Apple devices along with powerful shortcut options for creating more enhanced images.

Usually, when a user takes a screengrab on their iPhone or iPad, the iOS provides with tools including cropping and markup while there was no way to add device frames to the screenshots.

However, with the Shareshot app, this is possible as the app enables users to add these frames in an intuitive way.

How Shareshot works?

Frame

The app shows the option to import the most recent screenshot when a user opens it. While the app is running in the background and one takes a new screenshot the app would ask if you want to put it in a frame.

Editing

Shareshot provides a lot of options such as exporting a framed screenshot with a transparent background or choosing between putting it in a vertical, landscape, or square image.

Backgrounds

There are many gradient backgrounds available on the app. Users can also select their images from the gallery. It can also make the frame larger or smaller or even change the direction and intensity of the shadow.

At last, Shareshot allows you to save the image, or even share it with other users also.

It appears that the app’s version 1.0 has some limitations such as it can only frame one screenshot at a time. Moreover, there’s no way to frame the screen recordings on the app.

The Shareshot app is available to use for free on the App Store. Meanwhile to remove the free version watermark, a subscription of $1.99 per month or $14.99 per year is required.
