Apple unveiled a notched display with the MacBook Pro 2021, while, unlike the iPhones, none of the Macs so far sported Face ID. Whereas it appears like that’s about to replace the company’s official Store app.
It currently displays an illustration of a Mac with a Face ID icon on the screen.According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple was checking Face ID for Mac. Meanwhile, the Cupertino-based tech giant hasn’t yet implemented it. A marketing employee of Apple in an interview spotlighted on it that the Touch ID is thought to be easier for a MacBook.

The button is near your hands when you're turning the laptop on. However, the interview didn't give any clear indications of Apple ruling out the possibility of adding Face ID.
It is important to note that this Face ID illustration on a MacBook doesn’t result Apple would be integrating it anytime soon.
Apple is anticipated to unveil new MacBooks with the M4 series of chipsets this October (256 GB M4 iPad Pro curr. $1,189 on Amazon).
