Ferrari has officially launched its new supercar — the Ferrari F80 — in the global market to compete against competitors.
This hypercar is set to be the successor of the iconic Le Ferrari. Fans were eagerly waiting after watching the camouflage prototypes throughout the year. Last week, the company dropped a video showing a car with the codename “F250” covered under the red hood.
Ferrari F80 features
The Ferrari F80 features a low-slung, aggressive, and aerodynamic profile that helps reduce drag and manage stability. Its design is relatable to the 499P. Meanwhile, the previous prototypes used faulty exhaust and fake panels.
Furthermore, the Ferrari F80 supercar’s active wing and a 71.0-inch diffuser provide 1,300 pounds of downforce at the rear. It produces up to 2,204 pounds of downforce, identical to the McLaren W1’s 2,205 pounds at 174 mph (280.0 km/h).
Talking about the interior, the Ferrari F80 boasts a square-shaped steering wheel with a Maneetino dial on the right side. It helps drivers switch between modes, i.e., Wet, Sport, Race, CT off, and ESC off.

The supercar sports a seating layout of 1+1, which results in the driver sitting ahead of the passenger, as the driver’s seat is adjustable and made up of Rosso Alcantara, a soft red material that gives comfort to the drivers.
The Ferrari F80 comprises a 3.0-litre V6 engine with a 120-degree hot-v engine from the 296 and 499P Le Mans race cars. Moreover, the Ferrari F80 featured a hybrid powertrain with an electric motor that increases its horsepower from 900 hp to a total horsepower output of 1200 hp.
The company said that the supercar can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.15 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 217 mph (349.2 km/h).
Ferrari F80 price
The price of the Ferrari F80 supercar is €3.6 million or about $4 million, which is double the W1 price.
