Hopping on the foldable bandwagon is every tech magnate, eyeing to grab the reputed rank in the battle being fought by tech giants like Samsung, Pixel, OnePlus, Motorola and many more.

To keep with the trend, Apple has long been rumoured to be working on a foldable device, most likely an iPhone.

Building on the existing spate of speculations for an Apple foldable, the latest leak has emerged on the scene, assuring that 2026 will be the year to witness not one but two foldable devices this time from Apple.

While earlier leaks stressed more on an iPhone deep in production, this one hints at the probabilities ranging from an iPhone and a foldable iMac/iPad hybrid.

Citing a profuse Apple analyst Jeff Pu, Android Authority said that chances are great that out of the two foldable devices, the iPad/iMac hybrid will launch first, with the most anticipated schedule being the second quarter of the year 2026.

Among all that this latest tip has shed light on, the only aspect in line with the previous rumours is that an iPhone could be launched in 2026, with a clamshell design reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6.

It was also learned from the rumour that the removal of the crease from the iPhone might be a bottleneck on the way to releasing a foldable iPhone.
