Fortnite, a free multiplayer game developed by Epic Games, built a smaller version of the Chapter one map for the Reload game mode, and it was a success. Players loved being capable of landing in their favourite locations again, picking up OG weapons, and blasting through their enemies.

The cup would be starting in the near future, so Gadinsider has compiled everything players need to know before they hop into Fortnite for the competition.

Fortnite Reload Cup time and date

Epic Games will be checking the waters with its initial Fortnite tournament set in the Reload game mode. Gamers who want to participate in the Fortnite Reload Cup only have one chance. The Fortnite Reload Cup has started today.

In North America, the Fortnite Reload Cup began at 5:30 PM EST, and in Europe, it started at 4:30 PM CEST.

Unfortunately, only players in NA and EU regions can enter the Reload Cup in Fortnite. However, if it all goes well, and it proves to be a success more tournaments are guaranteed to take place in the future.

Fortnite Reload Cup rules & rewards

There are two Reload Cups taking place at the same time; players can participate in the standard Battle Royale Reload Cup or the Zero Build Reload Cup. Both competitions are available for squads, meaning that players should search themselves a team of four players, and they might last a total of two hours.

During the two hours of the Reload Cup in Fortnite, players can enter a maximum of seven games. The Fortnite Reload Cup doesn't add any rewards, as this is an easy test to view if fans are interested in a competitive mode for Fortnite Reload.
