Apple is gearing up to launch a fresh batch of iPad models — the mdoel numbers are identified as A2836, A2837, A2898, and A2899 — in May.

According to reports, two new iPad variants have been registered on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, with an additional pair of distinct iPad models also listed on BIS.

While BIS hasn't provided specific details, it's expected that Apple will refresh the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models, as well as the 10.9-inch iPad Air. Moreover, rumours hints at the introduction of a brand-new, larger iPad Air, possibly featuring 12.9 inche screen.

The iPadOS 17.5 beta code revealed references to a potential 'Battery Health' feature. This discovery suggests that Apple might be planning to echo battery management functionalities that have been part of iOS since version 11.3, into the upcoming iPad models.

Delays in the announcement, initially projected for March/April, are attributed to ongoing software development and production challenges.
