Samsung has announced the launch date for its latest smartphone models, the Galaxy M15 5G and M55 5G, in India on April 8 at 12pm IST, and the devices will be available through Amazon.
While both devices have OLED screens and large batteries, the Galaxy M15 5G is an entry-level phone, whereas the Galaxy M55 is a mid-range model.

As per the company, the Galaxy M15 5G will feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ display and a 90Hz refreshing rate. Under the hood, the handset will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor.

With a whopping 6000mAh battery, you can drag it for straight two days on a single charge. The Galaxy M15 will be available in the following colour options: Celectine Blue, Stone Grey, and Blue Topaz.
Galaxy M55 5G specifications
The Galaxy M55 5G comes in 128GB and 256GB of storage options, along with a triple rear camera system, consisting of a 50 MP main lens with OIS, 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP macro lens. On the front side, the device is equipped with a 50 MP selfie camera. A robust 5,000 mAh battery, supporting 45W wired charging, ensures uninterrupted usage.
Galaxy M55 enhanced the viewing experience with 6.7- Super AMOLED+ screen, 1080x2400 resolution, 120Hz refreshing rate, and 1,000-nit brightness.
Running on Android 14 with One UI 6.1 interface like its counterpart, the device is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip power. On top of that, additional perks extend four major Android OS updates.
Galaxy M55 5G, M15 5G price
According to the reports, the Galaxy M15 5G will start at INR 13,499 ($162), while the Galaxy M55 may cost as much as INR 26,999 ($323).
