Samsung’s Galaxy S25 is grabbing the spotlight again after being spotted on Geekbench with an Exynos chip. While rumour mills have generated substantial buzz around the upcoming Galaxy series, a prolific tipster has tipped its launch date.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is likely to include three models: the S25, S25+, and the S25 Ultra. These flagship models are expected to feature a refined design, next-generation chipsets, enhanced displays, new Galaxy artificial intelligence (AI) features, and more, offering a smooth and intuitive user interface.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), a credible analyst revealed that the Galaxy S25 series is likely to launch on January 22, 2025. He noted that due to time zone differences, the launch event is likely to take place on January 23 in South Korea.

Despite the time zone discrepancies, a few countries, including the US and India, will observe the Unpacked event on the same day.

Earlier reports suggested the event could be held in the US. While the timing variations might spark concerns, they are attributed to the differences in time zones between South Korea and other countries.

What to expect at Galaxy Unpacked 2025?

At the Unpacked event, the South Korean tech giant is expected to showcase the latest Galaxy S25 series alongside multiple innovations. The company might present a prototype of its XR Smart Glasses and could tease a “Slim” version of the S25 series.

In addition, the Galaxy S25 will launch with the highly anticipated One UI 7, Samsung’s latest software update, which was previously expected at the Samsung Developer Conference 2024 (SDC24). It is now corroborated to launch at the Galaxy Unpacked launch event.
