Samsung is reportedly working on a new feature called "Battery AI" that will be introduced in the upcoming Galaxy S25 series. Rumours expected the flagship phone to sport the same 5,000mAh capacity with support for 45W fast charging.

The new feature is expected to add 5% to 10% additional runtime to the phone, making it a significant improvement for users who are always on the go.

The rumoured "Battery AI" feature will work by shutting down essential tasks running in the background that consume system resources. This means that this feature will help save battery life by reducing power consumption.

Although Samsung has not officially confirmed the "Battery AI" features, it is likely to be introduced in the Galaxy S25 series, which is expected to be released in early 2025. This device is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and Exynos 2500 application processors that will power the 2025 model.

The introduction of “Battery AI” is a major development and will help address one of the biggest concerns of smartphone users — battery life. If Samsung does provide this feature next year, it could take some of the attention away from other manufacturers for keeping the battery capacity used on the Ultra model at 5000 mAh since the release of the Galaxy S21 in 2021.
