Google is set to integrate another approach to access its flawless Song Search feature on Android with a Quick Settings (QS) Tile.

Google app 15.39 (currently in beta) unveils a Song Search QS Tile that houses a simple music note icon.

Tapping launches the fullscreen globe effect unveiled earlier this year. A Google Search results page loads once a match is found.

This shortcut arrives as the Google app on iOS just unveiled a customisable Search widget that also allows you to rapidly access Song Search, with something relatable planned for Android.

Meanwhile, Shazam provides something relatable, while the Apple-owned app recently rolled out the capability to long-press its Tile to immediately access your history.

This method joins the multitude of other ways to access Song Search, including the widget shortcut that can be placed on your home screen, clicking the voice mic icon in the Search bar > Search a song, Google Assistant/Gemini, and Circle to Search.

To include (on Pixel), fully launch Quick Settings and click the pencil icon. Scroll down to the last section and drag it to where you need it for work.
