Google is working on a redesigned account switcher for its apps. The feature is targeted at making life a lot easier if you handle many accounts. The new design will probably be similar to the web version, featuring a cleaner look with a collapsible menu to show more accounts.
The current account switcher user interface (UI) in Google apps appears with your primary account, followed by a "Manage your Google Account" button, other connected accounts, an "Add another account" button, and the option to manage accounts on your device.
However, this design gets cluttered rather quickly, which causes quite a few problems-especially for users with many accounts.

The new design of Google apps, now spotted in the latest Google Keep update, is far simpler and intuitive, at the top, it shows your default profile picture, a greeting, and the "Manage your Google Account" button, while the rest of the connected accounts will be obfuscated in an expandable "Show more accounts" menu for easier account switching.
This new account switcher UI has not been rolled out yet and is under development, Google said. However, the company has been adding new strings of code about this update of design to various apps over some weeks.
The new design is going to make multiple accounts easier to manage and much easier to switch between when released.
The simplified account switcher UI is going to make using their accounts easier to access and manage, hence improving the overall user experience. This is just but one of the UI changes Google is putting into its applications to make them more user friendly.
