Google brings Multiview feature to YouTube

Google is finally taking its Multiview feature to YouTube. Subscribers of the National Football League (NFL) Sunday Ticket will now get the perk of being able to watch up to four games at one time. Until now, this feature has only been available through YouTube TV. 

The availability would be on TVs, mobile devices, and tablets, and all of this might be subject to change in the future.

What is Multiview?

Multiview is a feature that allows users to view more than one screen at the same time. On YouTube TV, the user can build a Multiview size of two, three, or four NFL Sunday Ticket games.

Google has announced several new perks for NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers, one of which is various improvements in Multiview. Since its debut, it has been rather rigid, henceforth restraints users to what games to view during a single time.

Availability of Multiview feature

According to Google, Multiview on YouTube would be available from the starting of new NFL season that kicks off on September 5. But, to monitor streams concurrently, users should first subscribe to the National Football League (NFL) Sunday Ticket.

Other updates

Spoiler mode would let you hide any team's score. The player can connect his/her NFL Fantasy and Yahoo Fantasy player to Fantasy View

Multiview would be available on all the devices that support YouTube with ease. This includes smart TVs, streaming devices mobile

The users have a customisable experience with screen selection and its arrangement games to watch and screen arrangement.

The feature would also have real-time stats and scores keeping up with their favourite teams a breeze for fans. On top of that, they can even watch multiple games on something like picture-in-picture while perusing the other content available on YouTube, or while other apps have taken over their phone or tablet.
