Google Calendar on Android is getting a new update that will allow users to manage their tasks in a much easier way.

The feature has been available on the web version of Google Calendar since last year and was recently spotted in an APK teardown.

What’s new in Google Calendar’s latest update?

On the Google Calendar app, users can finally see a full-screen view of all their tasks and task lists, instead of only those tasks that have a due date.

A Task icon is added on the top-right corner between the profile picture and the “Today” view button. Tapping it opens the Google Tasks interface, where users can mark their to-dos as complete, once done with the task.

This change brings the mobile app in line with the web version, providing a more comprehensive view of users' to-do lists.

This update in Google Calendar for Android is currently rolling out to Google Workspace customers, Google Workspace Individual subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts.

However, it's worth noting that the update is only available for Android users, with no official word on when it will be available for iOS.
