Google I/O, the most awaited event of 2024 is about to begin in a few hours and people are keeping an eye on it. As per the announcement, it will start on May 14 at 17:00 UTC/1pm ET/10am PT and will be live from Mountain View, California.
Last year, at the Google I/O 2023 event, Google Pixel Fold was launched which was the first foldable phone by Google. Now, people are expecting to get the Pixel Fold 2, calling it as Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It is also expected that the focus of Google I/O 2024 will be on software andartificial intelligence (AI), including new features of Android 15, Google Gemini and its applications.

Additionally, Google just announced the Pixel 8a, one week before the event. It will most probably be about new features of Android 15 as discussed above. However, the new version is currently in beta.
There are some rumours about the release of Pixel Watch 3 as well and it might also be possible that Google will launch its WearOS 5 without launching a new watch. While some rumours are rolling out in the market, we have to wait a few more hours to know the actual news and updates as even Google I/O is just around the corner.
